There is an organisation that started in Denmark, called Verdens Skove which means "Forests of the World". Verdens Skove/Forests of the World is an environmental organisation working to promote sustainable use of the world's forests, particularly in Denmark and in the rainforests of the tropics. For over 25 years, they have been working to preserve forests resources for the benefit of local communities and the environment and climate. When I was born my father bought a rainforest certificate from Verdens Skove in my name to help save the rainforest of Costa Rica, so I've grown up with knowledge of the importance of wild forests to our life on this fair planet.
I encourage you to go check out their website and like them on Facebook and give their twitter a follow, see if maybe you can do something to help promote their important cause.
They've had an Instagram comtetition where I was fortunate enough to be chosen as one of the weekly winners. So below is my shot and also the link to the organisations english website and a link to a little feature in danish they did about me a while back.
Also my personal instagram account is called Oceanraised so feel free to come check out my gallery, and while you're at it, like VerdensSkove on instagram as well.
As always, thanks for checking out my blog.
My interests besides photography include; Nature, surfing, marine biology & conservation, reading, all things & activities ocean related and travelling all over this incredible planet.
